How does working at Willow challenge you to grow professionally?
I love working at Willow! Developing Nutu with our own AI models really pushes me to step outside of my comfort zone. We’re encouraged to take ownership of initiatives, experiment with new ideas, and even present them to leadership (many many insightful feedback!). This hands-on experience helps me grow significantly in problem-solving and decision-making. Also, we work very closely with different departments – engineering, design, marketing – I was able to develop strong communications and cross-functional collaboration skills. Working with diverse teams really helped me understand the underlying goals and different perspectives, as well as solve problems more efficiently.

What drives your passion for creating solutions that improve people’s lives?
My passion for creating solutions that improve people's lives stems from a deep desire to make technology more accessible, intuitive, and meaningful for users. I firmly believe that the most effective designs emerge from a profound understanding of user needs and challenges. What drives me is the opportunity to distill complex problems into elegant, functional solutions that elevate everyday experiences. There's an unparalleled satisfaction in witnessing how a thoughtfully designed interface can not only simplify tasks but also transform how individuals engage with the world around them. It’s this human-centered approach that motivates me to keep pushing for better, more thoughtful solutions.

How does Willow Laboratories empower you to think creatively and push the boundaries of innovation?
We have many projects in the works at Willow Laboratories, and we’re lucky to have teams stretching across many domains and fields of expertise working together under one roof. Every day I can walk over to the head of a research team to pick their brain and discuss how to tackle some new challenge, since our teams are small, dynamic, and flat. I’ve had the chance to contribute to very different projects, and I learn something new every time! Here at Willow Laboratories I am pushed to reinvent things, make them better every time, and offer my own ideas and hear others’ ideas. The new perspective someone can give when they have a different expertise than yours can get you kicking off with new ideas.
